If you are a regular reader, and didn’t know… I opened my paper this morning to find this on the front of the Lifestyle section:
http://www.startribune.com/lifestyle/wellness/119511164.html
I knew it was in the works, but not exactly when. And… I just have to say, the picture in the printed copy is pretty much true to life-sized. YIKES! I made sure that when I went over to the convenience store to buy 500 5 copies, I wore my sunglasses, so I wouldn’t be recognized and mobbed. In all seriousness though, I am so honored to be sharing my story.
And honored to be sharing page space with some other awesome “losers” and bloggers:

ReplyDeleteCongratulations for being published. How VERY exciting! Great article!
ReplyDeleteSarah, I'm excited for you, congratulations!!! Our CWWL was talking about you last week at our meeting. I think you became the topic because we were talking about me training for a half-marathon (temporary moments of insanity). She is like a proud little mama when she talks about you!
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing!!! I'm so happy that your pregnancy is also going well.
So proud of you!!!!! Saw your article today, then when I got to the gym my water aerobics instructor was asking me if I read the article about weight loss bloggers in the paper today and I was all too thrilled to tell her how I knew those people and how wonderful they are!
ReplyDeleteI hope your pregnancy continues on a great path!
(hugs)
Hi!
ReplyDeleteI had morning sickness really bad with my last 2 pregnancies, and I found the magic cure with my last one. It's Ginger Beer!!
Just like Ginger Ale, but with more of the real ginger in there for a bigger kick :)
I found it at the Co-op and was so desperate I was trying anything and everything. Ginger cookies, dried ginger fruit(yuck), and other home remedies that worked for others. They helped a little, but not much.
Once I tried that Ginger Beer, it was very strong, and I didn't like the taste at first. But, it instantly settled my stomach, and I grew to LOVE that taste! It has a screw on top, so I would bring a bottle of it everywhere with me. Just a sip is all you need, and you feel instantly better.
Sarah, that is soooo awesome!! Congratulations!! You have done amazing things and have helped so many!! You are an inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteKeep focused!!
