R.I.P. Weight Watchers Food Scale
November 22, 2010Today I lost a very good friend… one that’s been there since almost the beginning of my journey- my Weight Watchers Food Scale.
This one:
It suffered a slow demise as I mistakenly set a bag of frozen spaghetti sauce, on a plate on top of it, and some of the liquid slowly dripped into its innards, seizing up its electronics. No one was there to witness its last moments, and it slipped away alone. I just hope that it didn’t suffer too much. Wow… complete and utter sadness. I actually cried. My first thought was, “Oh no, how will I measure out my wine.” Sad… but true!
My next thought… how will I do my program without it? I HAVE to measure and weigh. It has been second nature to me these past couple of years. It is definitely one of the top 5 keys to my success. So Weight Watchers food scale… I lift my unweighed glass of wine to you tonight.
